Los Angeles FC has released new renderings of Banc of California Stadium, providing some fresh looks at the highly-anticipated facility.
It has been a banner year for the development of the stadium. Ground was broken on the facility in August, which was also when LAFC announced a naming rights pact with the Banc of California.
The $350 million facility has been hyped for a number of reasons. Set to open in 2018, Banc of California Stadium will anchor a larger development at the site of the former Sports Arena. Some glimpses have been released prior to the team’s recent unveiling of new renderings, but there are some views to note.
While the new renderings show how Banc of California’s branding will appear on the stadium, they also provide a more detailed look at the inside of the facility. The renderings were released earlier this week.
In addition, there some new perspectives on the exterior of Banc of California Stadium. As can be seen below, the stadium will follow some design trends by incorporating large public plazas and other gathering spaces. It will also have the advantage of excellent visibility from nearby roadways.
LAFC will be joining the MLS as an expansion franchise in 2018. More renderings can be seen on the team’s website.
