Legends Hospitality lands Sporting KC concessions

sportingkcBig change for at Sporting Park: Legends Hospitality, the concessions firm from the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys, will be taking over Sporting KC concessions and premium catering for the coming season.

Legends is developing a new Sporting KC concessions culinary program based on popular regional fare, quality and customer service that will debut at Sporting Park during Sporting Kansas City’s 2015 home opener on March 8 versus the New York Red Bulls.

“The guest experience at Sporting Park is extremely important to all of us at Sporting Kansas City and partnering with Legends will help take the dining experience to the next level,” said Sporting KC Chief Revenue Officer Jake Reid. “Legends aligns perfectly with our philosophy around continuing to make Sporting Park a world-class venue and we are thrilled to kick off the partnership for the upcoming season.”

Since opening in June 2011, Sporting Park has hosted many of the biggest matches in American soccer including including the 2013 MLS Cup Final, 2013 MLS All-Star Game, 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final and World Cup qualifying matches for both the U.S. Men’s National Team and the U.S. Women’s National Team.
