The Philadelphia Union (MLS) may begin play at Lincoln Financial Field if the team's new stadium in Chester isn't completed.
Not necessarily the worst thing in the world, of course; sure, you'd rather begin play at home, but schedules with the first four or five games on the road are a drag.
The issue: there's a pretty good chance the new 18,500-seat soccer stadium in Chester, Pa. won't be done by the beginning of the season.
