LAFC Safe Standing Section on Tap for Supporters Group

Banc of California Stadium Safe Seating Section

LAFC safe standing section is on tap at Banc of California Stadium for the team’s supporters group, dubbed the 3272, who will have access to $20 ducats and exclusive access to a 75-foot-long bar.

The team made the announcement yesterday at a Black and Gold Rally designed for the supporters. The safe standing section will be the second in MLS stadium: Orlando City Stadium opened the season with a unique safe standing section for the team supporters club. At Banc of California Stadium, the supporters section will be called the North End, and the design will have a twist: the rails will also feature a small seat that folds back. There will be 3,252 standing spots in this section.

Which leads to the second big announcement at the Black and Gold Rally: the branding of the supporters group as a nonprofit, The 3252. Why the 3252? Add the four numbers together and you get 12: the 11 players on the pitch and the 12th player represented by fans in the stands. The mission:

“The vision of the 3252 is to unite all LAFC supporters, to create a dynamic and diverse in-stadium active support environment. The 3252 will create an unrivaled sporting culture for the Los Angeles Football Club. We will do this by inspiring and increased level of passionate support for LAFC, providing a collaborative environment amongst the LAFC faithful and with the organization, enabling participation in activities for LAFC Supporters by organizing coordinating and directing active support for the Los Angeles Football Club.”
