NASL headquarters relocated to New York City

NASLShifting operations to what’s still the ad/marketing/media capital of the United States, the North American Soccer League (NASL) office has completed its relocation to new headquarters in New York City.

The league was previously based in Miami, Florida.

The move comes as the NASL prepares for the kickoff of its 2014 spring season, which gets underway in Fort Lauderdale, Indianapolis, San Antonio and Tampa Bay on Saturday, April 12. The defending champion New York Cosmos open at home the following day, Sunday, March 13, at Hofstra University.

“The major sporting organizations in the United States have a presence in New York City, which is recognized as a hub for global businesses and media, so it is a natural progression as the NASL evolves to be based here,” said NASL Commissioner Bill Peterson. “We look forward to increasing number of staff who will be based here in New York and are excited about the new season kicking off later this month.”

The NASL will be based at 31 West 34th Street,7th Floor, Suite 7034, New York, NY 10001.
